Conference: Innovation in the Democratic City (17/05/2018)

Innovation in the Democratic City event || Thursday, May 17 2018 || Fábrica de Creació Fabra i Coats

CNSC research group, together with the Ajuntament de Barcelona, is co-organizing the event “Innovation in the Democratic City”. Prof. Manuel Castells, IP of CNSC, will intervene as special guest.

This event is organized in the framework of the Decidim project to present the Laboratory of Democratic Innovation (LID) and will be held next Thursday, May 17, at Fábrica de Creació Fabra i Coats (Barcelona).

The main topics to be addressed during the morning session will concern the relation between participatory democracy, digital technologies, and the social transformation of cities. The new Laboratory of Democratic Innovation (LID) and the last developments of the Decidim project will be presented, as well. In the afternoon, a SOM (Metadecdim Operative session) will be held.
