Conference: Citizen participation via new digital platforms

On Tuesday, January 15, at 06:00 PM, CNSC researcher Antonio Calleja-López will participate in the conference “#eParticipacioUOC: Citizens’ participation through new digital platforms“, organized by the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

The conference is meant to be an open debate about the opportunities and challenges of the new digital platforms for political initiatives emerging from the citizenry and its relation with the public administration at different levels. Antonio will present the case of Decidim, a digital platform that has become a benchmark in digital participation in recent years, explaining its design and main functionalities.

The conference will take place in Sala Joan Laporte at the UOC’s facilities in Tibidabo (Avinguda Tibidabo 39,08035 Barcelona). If you wish to attend, you need to register (check the full program in the links section). The conference will also be broadcasted via live streaming.
