On January 29-31, CNSC hosted the workshop “Statistics don’t hurt (I): European Team Workshop“, which represented the European leg of this event while the twin-workshop took place in Canada. This three-days-long workshop was a hands-on type of event based on the data gathered from the first wave of the “Older audiences in the digital media environment: A cross-national longitudinal study“, a project supported by the ACT Project and funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). Coordinators of this longitudinal survey in Austria, Israel, Romania, and Spain–as well as collaborators from Canada–participated actively in this workshop by presenting research projects, sharing knowledge, and discussing common questions and challenges.
The second workshop will be held in London (UK) by late October 2018, in the context of the annual meeting of the ACT Project to be hosted by Brunel University.
