CNSC group leader Dr Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol has been interviewed for Berria to discuss the age-related digital divide. According to Fernández-Ardèvol, older people have the ability to learn and to use new communication technologies although the age-related digital divide is undeniable. The interview covered several topics, such as the uses of technology and learning skills in young/older people, the gender role in digital learning, job opportunities and digital divide worsened by the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the responsive role of public administrations.
