The 8th European Communication Conference of the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) was celebrated online between September 6 and September 8. The theme of this edition of the conference was “Communication and trust: building safe, sustainable and promising futures.”
CNSC members Mireia Fernández-Ardèvol, Andrea Rosales, and Daniel Blanche participated actively. Mireia presented the paper “Are statistics ageist? Should we care about it?” where she discussed how the framework created by available data shape the way different social agents can think (about) the societies we live in. It was part of the session parallel session Vulnerabilities and Inclusion that Andrea chaired. Daniel delivered the paper “Political participation of older activists in network societies” that presented the first results of his PhD research.
