Decidim Fest returns on October 18, 19 and 20, 2023 with the motto Democracy, Technology and Collective Intelligence. From CNSC research group we get involved in the event from various participations:
Sara Suárez-Gonzalo, Juan de la Cierva postdoctoral researcher at CNSC, will participate, on Thursday, October 19 at 3:45 p.m. (CEST), in the presentation “Ethical Challenges for the Democratization of Artificial Intelligence“. Together with Ashwin Singh, and moderated by Pablo Aragón, Suárez-Gonzalo will reflect on the approach to Artificial Intelligence in research and the public sector.
Technopolitics Unit of the CNSC, in collaboration with Becoming and Holon, will offer, on Friday October 20 at 12:00 p.m. (CEST), the Workshop “Technological Transitions: Expectations and Promises to Decidim” by ‘Andreu Belsunces Gonçalves”, pre-doctoral researcher at the CNSC.
Laia Márquez and Joel Peiruza, CNSC researchers, will make the presentation on Friday, October 20 at 10:40 a.m. (CEST) of the project Participatory Budgets in Catalonia: Extension to the Territory, Use of Participatory Platforms and Citizen Evaluation, one of the winners of the call for democratic quality of the Generalitat de Catalunya (DEMOC2022), led by the Director of the CNSC, Rosa Borge. The project aims to evaluate the participatory budgets of Catalan municipalities, especially those implemented with the Decidim platform.
From Heurística, Luce Prignano, Joan Massachs & Emanuele Cozzo (member of the CNSC), will offer the Dialoguem workshop on Friday, October 20 at 9:00 a.m. (CEST). Sociophysical Modeling, Data Analysis and Visualization for Augmented Deliberation.
